What to check before downloading
Compression rasterizes pages and removes searchable text, fields, links and digital-signature validation. Reconstruction supports up to 40 pages. Padding to a minimum does not improve quality.

What if the PDF already meets the range?
The tool can keep the original bytes when the entered range is already met. Unnecessary compression is avoided; always retain a separate original for important documents.
