Increase a PDF to a minimum file size
Use minimum-size padding when the portal specifies a lower byte limit.
Confirm that a minimum exists
Many upload forms specify only a maximum. A small, readable PDF already below that maximum does not need enlargement. Enter a minimum only when the actual instructions require it, such as a range from 100 to 500 KB.
Set both bounds
Open PDF target size and choose the document. Enter the minimum and maximum with the correct unit. For a document below the minimum, FormFile can add non-visual padding. This increases the byte count without making the visible pages sharper.
Distinguish size from quality
Adding bytes cannot make a low-resolution scan readable. If text is blurred, replace the source or obtain a better original. Padding is intended to satisfy a byte-range requirement, not to repair document information.
Review before submission
Check the actual output size and open the downloaded PDF. Preserve the original when signatures or special PDF features matter. If the portal still rejects the padded copy, follow its specific validation message instead of repeatedly adding more bytes.
