Understand file sizes, dimensions and previews.
KB is not the same as pixels
Pixels describe an image’s width and height. KB describes the amount of data in a file. A form may require both, so enter them separately.
Why did my image get smaller than the limit?
A maximum is a ceiling, not a required exact size. We aim for useful quality within that ceiling. A simple image may already be much smaller. Use a minimum only if your form specifies one.
Why can’t a target be reached?
Detailed images and long documents need more data. Lower quality can help but may affect readability. Try smaller dimensions if your form permits them. Never upload a result marked outside the target without checking the receiving limit.
Will the picture be cropped?
Fit inside keeps the full image with white margins if necessary. Fill and crop removes edges to fill the chosen dimensions. Preview both before choosing.
How do I keep multiple images on one page?
Open Multiple images, one page, add up to four images and choose a layout. Select PDF, JPG or PNG as the output.
My PDF has a password
Use Unlock your PDF and enter the password you already know. The output is a flattened image-based copy. Digital signatures and editable fields will not survive this process.
My file isn’t supported
The core image tools support JPEG, PNG and WebP. Office documents, RAW images and HEIC are not supported in this version. Export a supported format from the original application first.
