Convert PNG to JPG with a white background
Prepare an opaque JPEG when an upload portal does not accept PNG.
What happens to transparency
A PNG can contain transparent areas. JPEG does not preserve that transparency. FormFile draws the image onto a white background before creating its JPEG output, so transparent regions become white in the downloaded copy.
Convert deliberately
Open Convert image format, choose the PNG and select JPEG. Keep dimensions blank if the current width and height are already correct. Add a maximum KB value only when required. Process and inspect the output before downloading.
Watch the edges
Thin signatures, logos and cut-out portraits can show pale or rough edges after conversion. Preview on the white background and check whether fine strokes remain visible. Raising dimensions will not repair an already jagged source.
Choose for the destination
If the destination needs transparency, keep PNG and use a compatible upload route. If it specifically asks for JPEG, use a real format conversion rather than editing the filename. A smaller JPEG is useful only if the content remains clear enough for the form.
